Severe Thunderstorms in the Central U.S.; Atmospheric River in the Northwest U.S.

Scattered severe thunderstorms are forecast across much of the Plains region this afternoon and evening, especially across the central Plains where damaging winds, very large hail, a couple tornadoes, and heavy rain will be possible.
